First Impressions
Pink. Well a sort of pastely pink, I thought it looked a lot peachier on the Barry M website.
In the picture I had a pattern on my nails (see the tutorial 'Strawberry Swirls' for how to do this) but if you look closely at the pink underneath you can see that it looks just a tad darker than what it is in the bottle.
Application
The brush is a good size for all nails, not too big for my pinkie and not too small for my thumb.
It also dries very quickly leaving your hands looking sweet, summery and well manicured.
Be warned, although it may look nice this polish will need at least 2 coats for a even coverage!
Add extra shine with a top coat or make it matt with a matt top coat.
Perfect pink for a light summery look, it will go with most outfits and can be partnered with another pastel colour, such as yellow or blue. It is light enough to not be 'full on pink' a look, which I am not too keen on...
Like most Barry M nail paints I have tried (with the exception of their 'Textured' Range) Strawberry Icecream will last you for at least a weak before starting to chip.
Verdict - 4/5 stars
This is a good all-round nail polish, it will go with almost any outfit and there is no fussing around trying to clean your nails up after the application. There is one small problem - it is too thin! I would love to give Strawberry Icecream 5/5 but that final star is lost to the double coat application. :(
You can buy 'Strawberry Icecream' online at www.barrym.com or from most cosmetic stores.
