Nail care - Nail care routine

Lots of people tend to neglect their nails, and the polish and polish remover is not the healthiest thing for it so take a few minutes out each week to give them some love <3

This is the routine I do each week to keep them strong and healthy, change it to your needs or re-arrange it but please include the steps written in pink as they are the most important out of this whole routine!

  1. Remove old nail polish (try to use an acetone free remover if you are a frequent user!)

  2. Use hand cream

  3. Cut nails (after bathing is better at they are softer and less likely to break - oh and you don't need to cut a lot, just neaten them up)

  4. Clean under nails
  5. Shape nails

  6. Smooth nails

  7. Buff nails

  8. Polish nails

  9. Apply cuticle oil (but do NOT push them back!)

  10. This step is optional but you can either choose to apply new nail polish, just a clear coat to add shine or leave them natural.
Done!

Sounds like a lot but it takes no longer that 10 minutes (unless I do the last step), I tend to do this on a Sunday along with a nice relaxing night off. ^.^

Superdrug - 4 way nail file (couldn't find the 4-way one but I think it is in the store, but here is a link for the 6-way!) http://www.superdrug.com
I don't remember where I got the nail clipper set but I'm sure your find it on the Internet somewhere :)
