Exploding Nail Polish!

Have you ever done anything embarrassing in a shop, like dropping a tea cup or knocking stuff off shelves?

I'm am and always will be a very clumsy person, but what happened at Boots was NOT my fault, let me set the scene...

I was looking at Maybelline for their Limited Edition Colour Show Polka Dot polish for a review when I noticed some one had put a 17 nail polish on the rack (brands are relevant by the way!). Anyways, the 17 polish was somehow balancing on the rim of the dippy thing that holds nail polish on the rack, I went to take out the Maybelline polish and BAM! The jolt of movement unbalanced the 17 polish and it dropped to the floor.

I thought "Whoops, I'll just pick that up again..." because I have never broken a nail polish by dropping it, but then I hear a 'smash' and look down and see nothing....the nail polish EXPLODED on impact and there was not trace of the bottle, just the pink polish - all over the floor, my shoes and jeans...



This colour went all over my shoes, trousers and shopping...



 



Imagine that these faint pink stains are as bright as
the 17 pink polish above, because they were....

What would you do if you found yourself covered in pink nail polish? Well I just stood there for a few minutes trying to process what just happened, then I walked awkwardly to my friends and together we found a really, really nice boots assistant who took me to a make-over booth thing so I could sit down and gave me some tissue and nail polish remover so I could clean myself up. She then went to clean up the mess on the floor where it fell.

Ironically the make over booth, where I sitting cleaning up the mess was by 17...the same brand which caused me to have the problem in the first place -_-

The polish stains never came out...which is bad for the jeans but look quite cool on the shoes, what do you think?
