First Impressions
I love the colours AND the names Barry M gave them:
- Atlantic Road (pastel blue)
- Kingsland Road (pastel pink)
- Ridley Road (pastel green)
- Station Road (pastel yellow)
Application
The paint is very thin so I recommend about 2 coats for a strong colour, the good news is that they dry very quickly so the waiting time between coats is minimal.
There is no need for a top coat as that would defeat the point of the texture.
Looks and Durability

Although they do look quite nice from a distance, they have a sort of matted appearence.
Being textured the polish will get caught on more objects than normal, and although it drys quite hard, and I found that it would get 'worn down' within a fortnight. The finish will vary as I play the guitar alot which means that the nail polish will be worn away quicker than most people. I suspect that if you are careful/don't do many activitys that require fingernails you could get about 3 weeks out of them (although you will have proberly changed them by then :p).
Verdict - 3/5 stars
Although I love the idea of a textured nail polish and the colours Barry M have produced are extreemly pretty, the appearance lets them down as it looks like a bad manicure close up. Furthermore they don't last very long on your nails which seems a shame as they spice up even the dullest outfit.
However, as they are only £3.99 each, if you are looking for a new/quick application nail polish I recomend you pick one up as they are fun to apply and have a nice feel!
