Strawberry Swirl Tutorial

Sometimes you just have to paint your nails pink

and cover them with swirls...



      Base           Pink Nail          Nail           Top      
  Coat             Polish         Art Pen         Coat

 Equipment 

• Base Coat
• Pastel Pink Nail Polish
• Top Coat
• White Nail Art Pen

Step 1

Use a base coat to protect your nails from dis-colouration and to smooth the surface (which will help the polish stick better).

Step 2

Paint the nails pink, this may require 2 coats.

Step 3

After the main coat has completly dried, take the nail pen and start to draw a big curved line on one side of your nail from the base to the tip.

Then draw smaller curves coming off the main line, try to vary the curliness of the lines for greater effect.

Once you are happy with the swirl design,

add a little dot at the ends of the lines.

 

 

Step 4

Make sure you seal you new design with a top coat!
